Bringing over 20 years experience in the private sector, Karen joined the City of Port Phillip in 2017 working in sustainability, strategic transport and policy development. She is a project lead in Council integration of shared transport and emerging technology to provide the community with alternative transport choices including one of Australia’s most progressive car share services with over 200 bays in Port Phillip. She also leads the inaugural delivery of shared e-bikes and shared e-scooters in Port Phillip, working closely in partnership with the Victorian Government and other inner city Councils to deliver the metro trial of e-scooters in Victoria.
