- I am at least 16 years old.
- I have listened to and understood the safety instructions prior to my test ride.
- I will wear a helmet and other protective gear at all times as required by law.
- I will follow all safety rules and track regulations and ride responsibly and courteously at all times.
- I agree not to take unreasonable risks while participating in the test ride, including but not limited to attempting skills or tricks that may cause harm to yourself, others, or the vehicle.
- I will not exceed the speed limit of 20 km/h.
- I will return the vehicle and helmet to the designated location immediately following my test ride (maximum 10 minutes per test ride).
- I am aware that in addition to the usual risks and dangers associated with test riding these vehicles, certain additional dangers and risks may be present, including but not limited to the danger and risk of falling or colliding with others.
- I grant the organisers of the carsales Melbourne EV Show the right to film, videotape, photograph my involvement in the test ride for the purpose of promoting the exhibition via digital media, social media, and online.
- By signing this waiver, I assume full responsibility and liability for any damage, loss, injury, or death that may occur to myself, the vehicle, or any third party as a result of my participation in the test ride program.
- I release, waive, and discharge the carsales Melbourne EV Show, the ABF Group, the carsales group, and its affiliates, agents, employees, representatives, and successors from any and all claims, demands, damages, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the test ride program.
- FOR PARTICIPANTS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE This is to certify that I, as a parent of guardian with legal responsibility for the above named participant, do consent and ratify his/her release of the Releasees, and for myself, my heirs, assigned, personal representatives and next of kin, I release and agree to indemnify the Releasees from any and all liabilities incident to my minor child’s involvement or participation in the activities described above, even if arising from the negligence of the Releasees to the fullest extent permitted by law. I have carefully read this release of liability and understand and fully agree with its contents.
- I have read this waiver form carefully and fully understand its contents. I sign it voluntarily and with full knowledge of its legal consequences. If under 18, this document must be signed by a parent or guardian.
